Increased user productivity

The MC5574 is highly compact, lightweight handheld computer specially designed to increase user productivity. Its rugged form and IP54 sealing make it suitable for year-round deployment in almost any environment and weather. What’s more, it complies with Motorola’s industry-leading drop and tumble specifications, meaning it can survive drops to concrete of up to 1.2m.

With a 3.5-inch colour display, plus high-quality speakerphone, microphone and transducer, the MC5574 is one of the most user-friendly handhelds ever. It offers superior voice quality and performance, regardless of the preferred voice mode (handset, Bluetooth headset or speakerphone) – allowing workers to communicate even more flexibly and efficiently than before.

Desktop-like performance

The MC5574 comes with an impressive XScale PXA270 @ 520 MHz microprocessor. This means it delivers desktop-like performance, but requires less power. In addition, all MC5574 configurations offer WAN with integrated GPS and come with the latest industry-leading Microsoft operating system: Windows Mobile 6.1.

Enhanced connectivity

Through WLAN connectivity with VoIP (VoWLAN), the MC5574 enables cost-effective voice and data communications, both in the office and out in the field. It also supports Bluetooth 2.0, with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) for faster data transfer with modems, printers and other devices. In addition, the MC5574 enables multi-mode high-quality data capture of pictures, documents and signatures, thanks to a built-in 1D/2D barcode scanner, plus an optional 2-megapixel colour camera with flash. This increases process automation and employee productivity, and minimises data errors.
