FPR will be using the latest technology for barcode scanning and automatic identification after forming a technical partnership with Datalogic Mobile.

Ford Performance Racing (FPR) has formed a technical partnership with Datalogic Mobile. FPR is the primary, manufacturer-backed Ford team in the V8 Supercar Championship Series. Datalogic Mobile is part of Datalogic, the third largest manufacturer in the world and leader in Europe for bar code readers, data collection mobile computers and RFID systems.

According to the agreement, Datalogic Mobile devices will be used throughout the FPR business. Datalogic Mobile will assist with advice and solutions to expand mobility and exploit efficiencies both on and off the track.
