The Socket Mobile Cordless Ring Scanner 9P is meant for mobile scanning applications with its class-2 laser barcode scanner and Class-1 Bluetooth radio. The 9P scanner can be worn on the index finger of either hand and the codes can be scanned by simply pointing the finger at them. The tethered Bluetooth unit is strapped to the wrist which enables transmission of data to any Bluetooth enabled mobile computer. Fabricated out of the strong LiquidMetal, which is twice as tough as Titanium, it proves to be rugged enough to withstand the toughest external environments. The Fuzzy Logic software helps to scan worn out and damaged barcodes. It can even scan VIN barcodes through vehicle windshields in daytime. It is suitable for scanning all linear and some stacked 2D barcodes.
